The EPA and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
detail their joint effort to investigate chemical accidents in a recently
released report.
The two agencies have developed a program to determine the
probable causes of and contributing factors to major chemical
accients and releases. After each investigation, the agencies aim to
issue a public report that conveys their findings, conclusions and
recommendations to improve chemical safety and prevent future
accidents.
