Basis for Program Implementation
System for PSM or Process Safety Management
In accordance with Article 44 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, workplaces that have hazardous or high-risk facilities with a high possibility of causing major industrial accidents, such as petrochemical plants, are required to provide information on process safety data, process risk assessment, safe operation plan, and emergency action plan with a view to preventing serious industrial accidents by having process safety reports written and fulfilled
*Serious industrial accidents: Accidents that may cause immediate damage to workers in the workplace or damage to areas near the workplace due to the leakage, fire, or explosion of hazardous substances from harmful or hazardous facilities prescribed by the President
