The program subsidizes part of the cost of renting or acquiring fall-preventing safety equipment* for small construction sites valued at less than KRW 5 billion each to help prevent fall-related injuries on small construction sites.

Eligibility and conditions
Eligibility
- Employers/owners (including construction contractors and subcontractors) of small construction sites, valued at less than KRW 5 billion each, with a workers’ compensation insurance policy and intent on installing fall-preventing safety equipment.
Terms of subsidization
- System scaffolds: Subsidies to be provided at fixed rates per unit area installed.
- Safety nets and ladder-type work platforms: 65 percent of the cost of purchase and installation for equipment costing less than KRW 300 million; 60 percent of the cost of purchase and installation for equipment costing KRW 300 million or more and less than KRW 2 billion; 50 percent of the cost of purchase and installation for equipment costing KRW 2 billion or more and less than KRW 5 billion.
Limits on subsidies: Each construction site is to be subsidized up to KRW 30 million only once.
- Each eligible applicant may receive subsidies for up to three eligible construction sites under the applicant’s management. (As for construction sites valued at less than KRW 2 billion, two sites shall be counted as one.)
