The S Mark Safety Certification System helps manufacturers to ensure their own safety from the designing and production stages. With the aim of achieving fundamental safety of industrial machinery and equipment, and to ultimately prevent occupational accidents, the S Mark Safety Certification System was introduced since November, 1997

Assessment on technical competency and production system | Review for appropriateness of technical ability and production system that is required at the work site to the safety certification standard for maintaining and guaranteeing the safety capability continuously. | 30 days (45 days when manufactured in overseas) |
Product examination | Examination for appropriateness of quality on the product safety to the safety certification standard. | 15 days /30 days /60 days(depends on item) |
Surveillance Assessment | Review whether the manufacturer continuously maintain the requirements of the time of obtaining the certification once per year |
