The Mongolian government appreciates KOSHA’s support

President Hun-ki Baek of KOSHA receives citation from Mongolia on 28^th

Vice Prime Minister D. Terbishdagva of Mongolia awarded KOSHA’s president a citation for contributing to building up OSH system in Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar.

KOSHA signed MOU with Mongolia’s Ministry of Labor in 2003 which is in charge of safety and health policies to contribute to helping the country set up occupational safety and health act. Further, in 2010, GASI(General Agency for Specialized Inspection) signed technological MOU with KOSHA.

Since then, KOSHA has provided technological consultation, training equipment and technological materials, and conducted programmes in which KOSHA invites Mongolian experts to KOSHA for sharing expertise.

Meanwhile both organizations, KOSHA and the Ministry agreed to renew the existing technological MOU for the next 3 years with KOSHA’s continuous supporting of technological consultation, protective equipment and invitation training programmes.

President Hun-ki Baek said “this citation represents KOSHA’s leading role in supporting OSH in Asian region after Vietnam bestowed a citation on 8^th November”, expressing his strong commitment to assisting developing nations and tightening the global network for closer cooperation and exchanges across the world.
